All the things

Time flyeth! Summer vacation is a mere 2 days away. Everyone is ready, but holy moly, this year flew by. Summer will include Youth Conference, RARARA family reunion, Girls Camp, High Adventure, Day Camps, Aani's birthday, the commencement of Marching Band taking over Anders' life, and hopefully some stuff in between. It should be rockin'.

Here's what's gone down this last month:

Dreams fulfilled. They made $18 and were just thrilled by the whole experience.

When this arrived in the mail, Ava said, "Mom, you should take a picture of me in this sweet hoodie and send it to Dad." 😊

Tumbling show off day. She tells everyone that she's "taking a break for the summer".

Addie and her friend Lina being weirdos. I don't even know.

I made these gluten free CCC's, and they were SO GOOD. Thank you, food technology people, who make GF flours that don't taste/feel like sand.

Hope of America. 3 down, 1 to go! It wasn't so bad this time. We arranged with lots of neighbors with 5th graders to meet and sit together, so that made it more fun.

Aani!

Anders at his final Jazz Band/Wind Symphony concert at Vista Heights. On to Westlake next year!

Aani and Addie's orchestra concert. I'm pretty sure this picture was taken on accident, hence the crookedness, but ya know.

Addie's BFF, Ella, has scoliosis, and had a rod fused to her spine last week! Eeeek!! We paid a visit, and naturally, everyone had to wear barf bag hats.

Yup.

When you have all the callings. Nils was called as EQP, and was swiftly released from High Council and Webelos. We just had to document the 3 calling situation. I'm pretty sure my time in the primary presidency is coming to a close, as my PP is moving to Hawaii in the next month. We often muse about how church rules our lives. All church all the time. What would we even do with ourselves without church? Probably drink. 😉

Anders wanted a portrait with his beloved Pip. #worstdogever

My handsome fellas.😍

We gave our moms these Yeti tumblers for Mother's Day. Nils gave me one for Christmas, and I love it, so we wanted to spread the love.

Toiling on the hill continues. We're getting there, but digging these trenches by hand was kinda tiring. We WILL have our yard done this summer. So thankful for a husband who will get out there and get stuff done. We like working together. It makes us love each other more, even when it's digging trenches and shoveling rocks. It's weird but true.

Wish us luck as we embark on another crazy summer!
