Mis Amigas

I've been friends with these ladies since early childhood. We all grew up in the same stake and general neighborhood. During high school, we would sit under a big open staircase before school started for the day and people watch, instead of mingling and trying to be social. ;) This was my core group of friendship and support. 

Life has taken us all in different directions, of course, but we manage to get together once or twice a year, and it's always a huge highlight. We're always able to pick up where we left off, as if no time has passed. 

No one has escaped the general poop-fest that is 2020, but for some of my friends, it's been significantly more difficult. Sick parents, bad relationships, kids are struggling all over the place, and the world is trying to drag us down on top of it all. Life is all about learning and growing, and there is a lot of that with this crew. These are amazing, strong women. We were able to get together last night to share our news, share our support, laugh, and as always, solve the world's problems.

I'm just feeling really thankful for a lifetime of friendship with them.
